This chapter will discuss about the method that we use during this report study. It includes all the steps that will be taken to investigate the question under consideration. For data collection method we use survey and questionnaire. About 30 students at Kolej Kediaman 2, UMP was participated in this survey and it taken randomly. In this study, we used both types of survey questionnaire that are open-ended and close-ended.
3.2 Description of Participants
At Universiti Malaysia Pahang, it have three Kolej Kediaman that are Kolej Kediaman 1, Kolej Kediaman 2 and Kolej Kediaman 3.For this study, we decide to make the survey and give the questionnaire at Kolej Kediaman 2, UMP. The respondents will be taken randomly and it will be involves 80 students.
3.3 Data Collection Instruments
For data collection method we use survey and questionnaire.In this study, we used both types of survey questionnaire that are open-ended and close-ended.Open-ended questionnaire are questions without any definite answer while the close-ended questionnaire provides a set of answers for the respondent to choose. The questionnaire contains about fifteen questions and it will answer completely by the respondents.

To analyze the data, we have use two type of survey questions that are open- ended and close-ended.For open-ended question, we use Free Response question while for closed-ended question we use Dichotomous,Rank,Scale and Categorical. From this data analysis, our target is to know whether UMP student at KK2 know about bad effect of using polystyrene as food container and to identify what kind of product can replace polystyrene. The data will analyze and calculate by using calculator and the result that we get will be present through statistic analysis in the table and graph.
